I had the idea for these wee bags a while ago – before Xmas in fact, but have only got around to making them in the last couple of weeks. I like to mix colours and textures in my work and when I came across the work of Margo Selby I knew that her fabrics would be the perfect contrast to the plain Harris tweeds that I have and also of a good enough quality – I wouldn’t want to devalue the tweed by pairing it with an inferior product! I love her fabrics but find them a little too much in great quantities however, used sparingly with a rich contrasting texture and colour I think it looks lovely and allows both fabrics to shine equally.
These wee bags are perfect to carry just the essentials like keys, phone small purse etc - could be used both in the day or evening and can be used as a clutch or with the chain handle.
These are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Suzanne - and beautifully displayed with your new Harris Tweed publicity materials. (So that's what you've been up to lately!)

Hey Suzanne, your Margo bags are very stylish. Pairing the two fabrics was a great idea and I love the purse frame too.
Just beautiful........
