I feel like I am riding the crest of a creative wave at the moment. I have so much energy and so many ideas swirling around that there don't seem to be enough hours in the day. Perhaps it is the new diet I am on. I have cut out almost all sugar and wheat and I feel amazing! My head is clearer than it has been for a long time and I have lost over a stone in weight which feels wonderful. However, all this creativity has resulted in a woeful lack of househould husbandry. Luckily, I have been forced to tidy up as I have had a friend to visit - even the kitchen floor got cleaned!
The workroom too has had a tidy....
I have been jumping from project to project with some minor tidying in between but some serious folding and putting away was required...
There, that's better. An oasis of peace and calm....
somewhere to kick back, relax and browse a few craft books and plan the next few projects...
Thought I would take a few pics as it will not stay like this for long! Finally, it slips seamlessly from workroom to cosy guest room.......
That bed looks inviting - maybe a wee snooze is in order before I start to make a wee list of things to do over the weekend. Now that all the tweed is tidied and folded I can assess what I am lacking in my stock and consider what purchases may be necessary, as next week I am off to the Outer Hebrides for a few days of R&R - I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! This time next week I will be blogging from the hotel in Harris hopefully (by that I mean most probably) with a G&T in hand!
You certainly have made a positive start to this year Suz. Great that energy levels and inclination arrived at the same time! Oh.... to have the luxury of such a space. Do I spy that 'all singing, all dancing' sewing machine?
5 more sleeps - exciting!!
