Well yes, actually, it has.
Funnily enough the last post I did coincided with the start of a new contract - Series 3 of 'How Not to Live Your Life' which has just finished it's run on BBC2 (catch it on iPlayer). From that job I went straight onto the next and then the next. As well as working full time I have been attending rather alot of craft events - large and small - which I had arranged (and paid for) before I knew that I would be working up to the end of the year.
It has been a very tiring and stressful few months to tell you the truth but I am sure that in a couple of weeks time once I have had time to relax and reflect I will realise that although this year a few hard lessons have been learned, overall it has been worth it.
I finish my contract today and I am looking forward to having some time to play around with some new ideas and fabrics that I have found. First of all though I am looking forward to spending some quality time with friends and family over the festive season!
In the meantime I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to anyone who stumbles across this poor neglected blog! And a HAPPY NEW YEAR (just in case I don't get back here before then!)
Best Wishes
Suzannexx
PS: I took this picture way back in the summer when I was dog-sitting - in fact it was the day of the Queen's Birthday and I went to the local WI to buy cakes. A nice summer image to feast the eyes on on a cold winter's day!!
I'm glad you are back. It has been a while!
Happy Holidays!

Lovely summery photo and wouldn't I like to own that cute little van?
Sounds like you've been very busy and I look forward to seeing the results of your 'playing'.

Yeah - the wanderer returns! Good to see you back and to see that you have restocked BOTH of your shops! Moflo Studio has some particularly lovely items. Hope to see you soon. Have a merry time! xx

Well the only thing worse than having too much work is not enough!
I did some craft fairs earlier in the year and decided NEVER again....
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a good well deserved rest
