Had a great morning at Killearn on Saturday! As always there were some lovely stalls and stallholders - the Wee Green Market is a really social event and thoroughly enjoyable. Luckily signing up to do an event really helps to focus the mind when it comes to finishing off half finished projects. I had plans to make all sorts of things but in the end I managed a few Scotties and Wee Hotties along with some T cosies...
plus a couple of new products. Needle cases......
I kept the ones with patterned Tweed plain with the label on the front and the plain Tweed cases I embellished with tiny crocheted flowers and felt with the label on the back. Inside I put a couple of leaves of black felt and a FiELDy label.....
Ialso made some felted Tweed corsages.......
Oh yes, those pinking shears have been earning their keep!!
I also made a cazillion crocheted corsages...............
I am afraid that I got sucked into some sort of crochet vortex which made making anything more than that impossible. I was so pleased though as I sold a corsage and a needle case! It is always good to feel that you are on the right track with something!
It was also great to catch up with Isobel who I met last time I did the Wee Green Market. Isobel makes cards under the name Bella Bheag. I was able to pass on the Knitting bag that had been commissioned by her niece as a Thankyou for doing such a wonderful job on all her wedding stationary.
Isobel had come to my 'studio' a couple of weeks previously to choose her favourite Tweeds. I really enjoyed making it as I know her and I know that she will really enjoy using it!
I also met a new crafty person - Lynne of My Baboo. Lynne makes the most gorgeous knitted and felted bags and softies out of the lovely New Lanark Yarn. I couldn't stop myself from purchasing a knitted bag for myself - I just love it - the colours, the bow.............
............everything about it! Pop over and have a look at her blog and see some of her creations.
I also had a few visitors - Elaine and Caireen (who bought some lovely homebaked German Cheesecake) and the lovely lady with the pink jumper......but that will be a post in itself!
Have a lovely weekx
Hi Suzanne - thanks for the link! Glad you love the bag, I've made a clutch bag with a huge bow that I was telling you about - just drying just now - look out for it soon!
I'll be buying one of your needle holders the next time I see you -look at my blog to see why.
Glad you enjoyed the fair.

I adore the needle cases--the little flowers are so sweet. And I don't think I could have resisted that felted bag either.
