Yes it's true! Good old Dunlop Green Flash are enjoying a revival.
When I was growing up I lived in these (except when I was stomping around the stables in wellies) so you can imagine my delight when I found these on sale. I was even more delighted when I found they also now had them in blue...
Give me a pair of tennis shoes over trainers anyday!
Maybe I am regressing back to teenagehood? I also bought a bottle of this.....
I haven't worn this for years but now I can't get enough of it., and it is half the price of my usual perfume - bargain! I am guessing that I am not the only one to have worn this as a youngster as several people have come up to me and said that they love the smell of Chloe Narcisse and that it reminds them of the past - college/old boyfriend etc. It is amazing how smell can transport you to another place and time, triggering memories that have long been forgotton. The human brain is a wonderful thing!
Long live the Flash!
I was always a puma girl...that is if I wasn't, like you, in riding boots or wellies! All the good stuff comes back 'in' again eventually!

You are right smells are so evocative. My first purchase of a fragrance was Amber by Lenthric which cost £1.00!
I have never been loyal to anyone scent and I am always on the look out for the next one; however I do get annoyed when ‘my’ scent is stolen, so I am now rather cagey about who I tell when I am complimented on my aroma.
I think my friend Stella was a fan of Green flash but I was never a plimsoll kind of girl – far too sporty for me:)

Oh, I haven't thought of tennis shoes like that in years. When I was little I had plain adidas tennis shoes with blue or white zigzag stripes and a very flat sole (that would kill my back these days).
Wellies we didn't have, though. They're so admiringly british. We just had 'rubber boots' but mine were light blue and had a pink sole. Those I can still wear today without wrinkling my feet too much. I haven't grown so very much in the last twenty years.
