great purse - well done you, you are so productive! Hiddeko sounds like an interesting person, and the mention of Japanese fabrics...oh boy! Cx

monica

what an inspiring post!

and man, I wanted to do that with the Christmas cards... butI forgot.... I knew there was something that was keeping me from sending them to the recycling bin...

stupid, stupid, stupid.

GRRRR.

(And that bag is gorgeous. Did you line it with some of your fab tweed?)

melissa@yummygoods

i love that cork board!

I assume that Burns night refers to Robbie, and not some charity do for the local hospital burns unit?? You said 'wee purse' in your opening sentence, which screams Scottish at me, so I hope you, Bevis and the gang had a rollicking time singing Danny Boy and reciting things about your love being precisely like a red red rose. I came to you via Quilt While You're Ahead.

That cork board is fantastic. I'm going to dive back into your blog and see if you've put a 'how to' anywhere. I love it. Though I'm a wine cask girl myself. I could try and substitute the casks for the corks, but I don't think it'd have the same aesthetic appeal.

The purse looks fantastic, what a great idea. Look forward to seeing more of those!
